Leaving your dog in the yard all day without taking him for a walk is just as bad as leaving him in the house. The yard might initially be a more stimulating place than the kitchen, but after awhile it quickly becomes another room in the house. If your dog spends long hours at home by himself during the day, consider hiring a dog walker or take your dog to a reputable doggie daycare center. Please call The Ideal Dog for recommendations.
